Wanda Boortz has a B.A. in Mathematics from Western State College and a M.A. in Special Education; Affective Needs from the University of Colorado.
Wanda retired in December 2013, after teaching mathematics for 33 years. She is now a consultant and tutor, using her math and organizational skills to help small businesses, and continue to promote the importance of education for young people.
Wanda volunteers at the Denver Dumb Friends League, supporting the joy of adopting shelter pets – especially animals other than dogs and cats. She loves to read, spend time with her husband and pets, and is an avid Colorado Rockies fan.
